Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Does this hose fit standard guns used in self-service car washes?

Yes, the hose features standard 3/8" Male (M) and 3/8" Female (F) industrial connections, ensuring full compatibility with most wash guns and lances on the market, including BKF systems.

What is the purpose of the black sleeves (anti-kink guards) on the ends of the hose?

The black flexible sleeves visible in the image image_a7845c.png serve as anti-kink protection. They protect the hose from bending or kinking in areas most exposed to mechanical stress, namely right next to the wash gun and the swivel arm connection.

What pressure and temperature ratings does the yellow Comfort hose have?

The hose is designed for high industrial performance. As indicated by the technical markings on the product, its maximum working pressure is up to 250 BAR (3600 PSI) and its maximum operating temperature is 60°C. It is a premium quality product manufactured in Germany.

Is the 5500 mm length suitable for an outdoor self-service wash bay?

Yes, a length of 5.5 meters (5500 mm) is optimally selected for outdoor bays (ext. bay). It allows customers to walk freely around the entire vehicle without stretching the hose excessively, while minimizing the risk of the hose rubbing against the concrete floor.
