The presented PAX IM25 model stands out with its exceptionally compact design while offering a complete set of connectivity modules including LAN, Wifi, and Bluetooth. The device is supplied in a base configuration – without a factory power supply and structural cabling. The open architecture of these new readers allows for continuous future expansion and seamless integration with additional systems – from advanced loyalty programs to fully personalized marketing offers, marking a true milestone towards the intelligent, self-service car washes of tomorrow.

Key Technical Parameters and Functionalities of PAX IM25:

• Compact Graphic Display: The device is equipped with a user-friendly, advanced color touchscreen with a 3.5-inch diagonal and a resolution of 480x320 px, enabling clear information presentation and intuitive operation.
• Industrial Protection Class: The robust terminal enclosure features an IP65 ingress protection rating and an IK09 mechanical impact resistance class, ensuring full reliability against harsh weather conditions and vandalism.
• PCI Compliance: Certified full compliance with PCI standards guarantees maximum security for every cashless transaction processed.
• Two-Way Communication with the Car Wash: The terminal maintains continuous contact with the car wash control system, allowing for full real-time interaction with the user instead of displaying simple messages.
• Dynamically Updated Data: The color screen can display real-time updated information regarding the current credit state assigned to the bay, service price lists, active promotions, and transaction details, including digitally displayed receipts.
• Mobile App Support: The graphic interface enables the generation and display of a dedicated QR code for payments via the BKF Pay mobile application.
• Authorized Payment Processor: Secure, fast, and stable processing of cashless transactions is carried out in cooperation with the merchant processor Elavon.

Hardware and System Requirements:

• System Compatibility: The BKF car wash must operate on software version V2 or V3, equipped with a B&R PP 65 or B&R PP C70 controller running up-to-date software.
• Network Connection: A permanent internet connection for both the car wash and the payment readers is strictly required.
• Application Management: An active Carwash Manager application is required to fully utilize the reader's functionalities.
• Fallback Mode (PULSE): In the case of older BKF car wash versions or when readers are applied to auxiliary devices other than the main payment panels (such as vacuums, screenwash fluid dispensers, etc.), the described advanced functionalities may not be available – the card reader will operate like a classic card reader using the PULSE protocol.

Required Contracts and Operational Fees:

• Agreement with Payment Processor (Elavon): A variable transaction fee of 0.7% of the transaction amount plus a fixed transaction fee of 0.07 PLN is charged.
• Agreement with Reader and App Operator (BKF): The standard monthly fee for terminal service and support is 50 PLN net.
• Special Reduced Rate: For clients who regularly source their car wash chemicals directly from BKF (or official BKF partners), a special reduced fee of 10 PLN net per month is provided.
