The CAT 5CP2150W pump is a triplex (three plunger) positive displacement reciprocating plunger pump is constructed with a chrome plated "W770" series special brass manifold, 304 stainless steel valve assemblies, ceramic plungers and standard NBR (Buna-N) seals and O-rings.
Chemical erosion or leaching of manifolds in car washes can lead to a variety of equipment problems including pulsation, leakage and pressure loss. Cat Pumps engineers have solved the leaching problems associated with standard pumps by developing the 'W770' series manifold. Using corrosion-resistant alloys, chrome-plated finishes and superior sealing surfaces, this design resists harsh car wash chemicals. 
The CAT 5CP2150W pump achieves 1725 rpm which allows for a number of drive options including direct drive with bell housing and flexible coupling, clutch or belt drive.
