They must not be used on the high-pressure lines (90–150 bar) downstream of plunger pumps.
Does the male (M) thread end require additional sealant during installation?
Yes. The male thread does not feature an integrated gasket or flat seal face. When screwing it into a technical port, you must apply standard sealing materials such as PTFE thread tape, sealing cord, or a suitable anaerobic thread sealant. The female swivel nut side already contains an internal flat washer and requires no extra sealant.
Is this hose resistant to the harsh chemicals used in commercial car washes?
The stainless steel outer braid offers superior resistance to ambient humidity and chemical vapors inside technical rooms. It is ideal for pure water, softened water, and reverse osmosis applications.
